This link contains queue sheets for several Savannah area road rides:
http://www.cbtc.org/CBTC/Cue_Sheets.htmlI really enjoyed the Kilkenney ride. The queue sheet doesn't tell you, but the ride starts at the Fort McAllister State Park parking lot - google it and click on the "maps" link to see where it's located. I liked the ride because of the sweeping views of the marshes along the Ogeeche River at the start, and again at the Kilkenny Creek Marina. Take your camera. The marina is a great place to stop and munch on a snack - it has a deck overlooking the marsh. When I was there I saw several dolphins porpoising about. There's a store stop at 11.9 miles into the ride. On the way back, the route keeps you on hwy 144, which has no shoulder, and isn't very interesting anyway. I'd go back the way I came in (less traffic).
While you have the cbtc.org website open, check out the "area rides" tab if you want to join the regularly scheduled rides (can't vouch for them). Also click on the "ride calendar" link for the weekly cbtc ride. They ride a different route every Saturday, and almost always have an A, B, and C group. Friendly bunch. Have fun.
